LaMode Quality Cleaners first opened for business on December 8, 1951. The original location was at 45th & Peoria, which back then was considered “way out South”. All the cleaning was performed at this location until the new Plant was built in 1966 at 7025 E 41st Street. This super new facility was recognized by American Dry Cleaner magazine as their Plant of the Year in 1967. This facility is still in use today and currently services all 5 LaMode Cleaners locations.

Across the past 50 years LaMode grew in number of stores and mostly spread south and east with Tulsa as the city changed. Some locations became less viable as the city’s demographics changed. But the company always attempted to provide convenient locations for the areas of the city that sought out high quality dry cleaning. In the last few years this has included growth into Broken Arrow and Jenks. As Tulsa and the surrounding communities continues to expand, we are always on the lookout for new, more convenient locations.

Today, after more than 60 years, LaMode Quality Cleaners is proud to be a vital part of the community. We employ about 40 people, some of which have been with the company for over 30 years. We look forward to another 50 years of caring for our customers clothing needs.
